• Nhi Dinh '27 (mentor: Dhawan) will start a math PhD at UIC in Fall 2026. Nhi wrote two preprints with mentor Dhawan.
• Annie Zeng (mentor: Bradshaw) won a 2025 Goldwater scholarhsip. See this press release. She also won an NSF graduate fellowship and will start a CS PhD at UIUC in Fall 2026.
• Dylan Roscow '25 will start a math PhD at Purdue in Fall 2025.

• Maya Viswanathan (mentor: Y) is a high school student from University Lab School. Maya will attend Yale in Math/CS for her undergraduate studies starting Fall 2024.

• Zhuo Zhang will participate in the REU at U. Chicago in Summer 2023. He also is a recipient of the 2022-2023 Lewis C. Hack Scholarship.
• Anshul Adve was awarded a 2019 Goldwater fellowship at UCLA for work done through ICLUE. He attended a U. Chicago REU in summer of 2019. He is a 2021 Hertz Fellowship finalist (one of 48 named in the nation, and the only one in mathematics). He also was awarded an NSF graduate fellowship in 2021. He will start his math PhD at Princeton in Fall 2021.
• David Brewster will be funded by an NSF RTG to work in the ICLUE program in Summer 2020 and Fall 2020. David will attend Harvard's PhD program in CS in Fall 2022.
• Anna Chlopecki '20 (mentor: Y) will be attending a math REU at Brown in the summer of 2019; accepted to multiple private and public math PhD programs and will start a math doctoral degree at Purdue in Fall 2020.

• Thien Le '19 obtained a PhD in CS at MIT and subsequently started a postdoc at Harvard. See his website. In July 2026 he and Melanie Weber used chatGPT to solve a problem that he heard about in ICLUE here.

• Husnain Raza is funded by an NSF RTG to work in ICLUE in Summer 2020 and Fall 2020.

• Steven Zhang '20 is attending Oxford for a graduate program offered jointly by the Mathematical Institute and the Department of Physics. In Fall 2021 he will return to the US for graduate study in mathematical physics at Stony Brook.
• Judy Chiang (mentor: Y. and Avery St. Dizier) will attend the math PhD program at Minnesota in Fall 2023. Previously she attended the University of Minnesota's Summer 2022 REU in Algebra, Combinatorics, and Representation Theory. In Summer 2021 she was accepted to the same program, but also Cornell's SPUR program, and MIT's SGI program; she attended the latter program. In Fall 2021, Judy also was awarded an LAS Design and Career Scholarship to work with Prof. Avery St. Dizier. She was also awarded a James Scholar Preble Research Award (later) in Fall 2021 for this work. She was awarded a Lois M. Lackner prize in Spring 2022. In Summer 2022 she will attend the U. Minnesota Summer REU in combinatorics and is participating in the ICLUE 2022 summer program on representation theory and combinatorics.
