Research Interests

My research lies at the intersection of combinatorics and its connections to algebra, geometry, probability, and algorithms. Much of my work has centered on Schubert calculus and geometry. In recent years, I have been thinking more about combinatorial representation theory. I have also contributed to combinatorial commutative algebra and combinatorial algorithms.

For more about my research, please see my papers and collaborators (including people at UIUC I have worked with) .
